Oasis HutsMountain Retreat in Fairy Meadows

Wooden huts at 3,300 metres, face to face with Nanga Parbat. Fresh air, starry skies and quiet days in one of the most beautiful places on Earth.

A retreat beneath the Killer Mountain

Fairy Meadows is a high alpine meadow in the Diamer district of Gilgit-Baltistan, reached only on foot. It sits at the foot of Nanga Parbat (8,126 m), the ninth-highest mountain in the world, and looks straight up at its vast Raikot face.

Oasis Huts gives you a warm, simple base for it all: cosy wooden huts, wood stoves, hot water and home-cooked food, with the mountain at your door.

Getting here is part of the adventure

From the Karakoram Highway at Raikot Bridge, a jeep track climbs to Tato village, followed by a walk of around three hours through pine forest to the meadow. We are happy to help arrange jeeps, porters and guides.
